AI Gurbani Research (“the app”, “the site”, “we”) is a non-commercial study resource for Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the daily Hukamnama. We have built it to respect your privacy completely. This policy explains what information is and is not involved when you use the website or the app.
We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information about you. There are no user accounts, no logins, no advertising, and no tracking. You can use everything on the site or app without giving us any information at all.
None that identifies you. The app does not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, or any other personal detail, and it does not create a profile of you.
To make the app useful, a small amount of information is saved locally on your own device only (in your browser or app storage). This never leaves your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else:
You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser’s or app’s data for the site. Removing it simply forgets your saved favorites and language preference.
The app contains no analytics, no tracking pixels, no cookies used for tracking, and no advertising. We do not know who uses the app or how, and we do not want to.
Almost everything the app needs — every page, image, font and the whole Gurbani text — is served from our own domain. There are only two situations in which your device contacts anyone else. In both, that provider may, as a normal part of answering the request, see your device’s IP address and standard technical information such as your browser type. We do not control their data practices, and we do not receive anything back about you.
Fonts are not a third party here. The Gurmukhi, Devanagari and Latin typefaces are stored on our own domain and delivered with the rest of the app, so no font request ever leaks to Google or anyone else — and the app still renders correctly with no internet connection at all.
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
The Gurbani text, translations, and transliterations are drawn from the ShabadOS open database and other cited scholarly sources, and are presented for study and reflection. Sources are credited within the app.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Because we collect no personal data, changes will typically be minor clarifications.
